Plans to Prosper

This verse came to mind the other day and has been resounding ever since -
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
There is nothing like the plans that God has for us. His plans are always good and in our favor.
He knows exactly when and where. He knows the why and the how.
Often times, I get distracted by my own plans and try to move in a direction led by my heart or my emotions.
And, it can be a force so powerful, yet so weak. Because no matter how motivated I am to succeed and achieve my goals, at the end of the day, my goals are not perfect. They are flawed because I'm flawed. They diminish, because my emotions and motivation to achieve them diminishes.
But God never changes, and His power and perfect will never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
I know that I might not understand why God's plan is what it is, or even what His plan might be for me at any given moment. But because of the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, I do know that His plan for me is good. His plan for me is to prosper me and to give me hope, and a future.
This same promise applies to you as well. So, keep this in mind next time you worry, fear, or doubt what will happen next or what you should do next -
1. Trust in God, because He knows the plans He has for you.
2. Trust in God, because His plans for you are GOOD.
3. Trust in God, because His plans will always trump the plans you have or could have for yourself.
